Stereo problems due to a sun visor problem

So I posted about this a couple weeks ago and the problem was that my sun visor had been lose for a while and one day I was driving and it fell so I decided to unplug the wires on it and when I did my stereo went out, my check engine light came on, none of my interior lights work, I cannot lock it with the button on the door, and when I turn it on the needles start moving back and fourth a couple times before it starts, I checked all of the fuses and I only needed a 10 replaced so I did it and the problem hasn't gone away, I recently replaced my battery for the OEM one straight from the dealer because of another problem and now Im not sure what I can do to fix it, anyone else have this problem? Thanks

You probably shorted something in the connector and blew the ROOM fuse, which sends power to most of the accessories in the cabin.

Thank you I will look into it, is it hard to find a replacement or do you think I can just get it at AutoZone?

The fuses used are pretty standard. Any parts store will have them as well as many big box stores like WalMart. If yours is like mine and hasn't been cannibalized yet, you might still have a spare fuse to replace it on the right side of the interior fuse panel (the ones running vertically) If memory serves, it will be red 20 amp fuse.

Thank you, I will try that as soon as I can
