(This problem may have been solved already and if so just drop a link to the thread below.) So, ive had my 8 for about 6 months and about 3 months ago I noticed a very faint knock in the steering when turing left and it has progressively gotten worse. The steering feels like it's getting caught on something only when turning left until about 2 days ago when I started feeling it when I turn right also, but it's nowhere near as bad as when turning left. On top of this the power steering will sometimes be out when I turn the car on. ( for example, I drove from school to get gas without power steering, I turned the car off to fill up and when I turned it back on the power steering was back.) I did a little research and I'm led to believe it's the steering rack or Torque sensor but I'm not quite sure and I want to see what you guys have to say. I'm posting all this because tonight the power steering cut off for the first time while driving and the steering is awful now when turning left. Thanks in advance dudes.
