I Have a 2005 Auto Rx8 I Just Replaced My Radiator Today I Took Off My old One Because It Had A Small Crack & Went to go get a Used one After i Replaced My Radiator My Car was Taking Long To Turn On i checked all the wires and fuses but everything was fine also My Radiator started to smoke a lil and the car was over heating n pouring all the coolant out ..... i just raplaced the coolant tank and coils,wires got a k&n typhoon intake n new alternator n battery...... i just dont know my my car takes long to turn on if i put everything back how it was n the overheating i have no idea wats happening please help.

Replaced Radiator Now Car Overheats

Hi i have a 2005 auto Rx8 i recently cracked my Radiator on the Way home Right away i order a used one the next day .... i turned on my car to see if it works n it did started fast .... i also just raplaced my coils,plugs,wires,coolant tank n cap,alternator, and battery, next was my radiator. .... i took the radiator off it took me a while .... then after i installed the other one my car took a while to turn on took me 3 attempts for it to crank as if it was flooded but it started the coolant alternatot light went off ..... so good sign but after 10mins of my car being on my mufflers were smoking light white smoke n the radiator was smoking a lil to & all my coolant drained so i put more i tought because the engine had air n needed to come out n let the coolant run tru all the hoses ............ but my car still keeps overheating i havent drove it anywere cuz im scared to damage the car the radiator overheats n coolant tank u can see the water boiling but on my gauges the temperature is inbetween C & H so is good i just dnt know wat can be my problem i sure i put everything back in place i check to make sure 3 times n also for any leak but everything is fine please help .

You both sound like you have coolant seal failure get the cooling system pressure tested if it fails you need a new engine. Could be wrong so don't freek out just yet just get the pressure test done

One other thing the factory temp guage and oil pressure gauge is crap. By the time it moves you could loose your engine
