Starting issues

My son has a 2004 Rx8 with 105 k miles on it. Sometimes when he goes to start his car it will not start. But , when he comes back later ( several hours or overnight) it will start. I have looked through the threads and couldn't find anything for this one. If I missed I I apologize.
We have replaced plugs, wires, coils, battery, ( not an optima ) , starter, alternator, fuel pump and more all within the last 10k
I'm hoping someone may have some info that can help. Thank you

trouble with warm starts are usually a sign of low compression. get a rotary comp test at a mazda dealer

Sorry. To be more specific we are talking about a cold start. For example , he will try to start his car in the morning to go to school and it will not start. But when he returns home from school the same day and gets in it to try to start it then it will start

I have not. The only other thing that I know for sure is wrong with the car is the P0661 code. I have bought the solenoid but have not replaced it yet
