I have a squeaking noise under acceleration.

No noise at idle at idle, Nothing when revving from idle either , but once the clutch is engaged and car starts moving there is a squeaking noise when I press throttle.

pressing throttle increases noise , when coasting at speed noise is still present but it is intermittent and not as loud but increases as soon as I press accelerator.

Just don't want some rough ideas what it may be based on above symptoms. Its due for service soon but would like some ideas before I go to mechanics to have my trousers pulled down.

Engine has plenty oil , belts all look to the naked eye but to be honest I haven't much experience what a good/bad belt should look like.

I have seen similar threads but nothing that matches exactly

If you can manage to record it, please post the recording. Is the sound localized to any particular area of the car?
