The kit is just the adapter and a tank to hold the oil so it isn't anything that you can't just DIY

Epitroch LLC is the manufacturer and a member here.
Epitroch

It's a nice kit, I ended up replacing my DIY solution with it.

Not sure why Epitroch doesn't have anything on ebay anymore... It's a nice kit. I'd PM him if I were you. As an alternative to the Sohn if they happen to not be available there is a company in the UK https://www.ryanrotaryperformance.com/ making the same thing but with 2 o-rings which is nice. Of course, they are out of stock right now as well, and I don't know if they will ship internationally.

Epitroch's setup is very nice, I got lucky and snagged one right after I got my 8. The actual adapter is the most important thing, grab one from the aviation store I'd say. The rest of it you can fabricate if you really want to, rugged clear tubing so you can see the oil is in the tube/primed as much as it can be on first start, and a couple mounting points for a premix reservoir bottle. The fluid bottle would be hardest thing to fab I think because of the built in fluid motor and getting it to seal well in a smaller tank.
In the meantime though, premix away! From what I've read lots of people have good success with just straight premixing so at the very least you can be sure the seals are well lubricated while you figure out your best course.

SOHN and OMP work? I found a good buy!

Hi all. I'm almost finished with my rebuild. I got the SOHN and Epitroch's mounting kit. When I was checking my oil nozzles, I discovered only one of the eight I had (I have 2 old engines) would hold a vacuum. I priced new ones and HOLY CRAP! Like $70 a pop!. Anyway, I found a ton of threads on here to clean them and try to restore them, but I was having no luck. Unfortunately, I don't have access to an ultrasound cleaner.
so, I was soaking my nozzles overnight in that purple power stuff, and I looked a little more online. I found a place that sells them in Canada for CA$40, which equals about US$30.50. For that price, I'm getting new nozzles and I recommend you do the same.

These are for the 2004 - 2008 models.

It's probably a good idea, but ultrasonic cleaners are cheap these days.
