So... Starters?

I’m going to finally tackle this hot start issue. Can anybody recommend me to a higher rpm starter for my rx8? I see a lot on eBay and Amazon- autoparts stores and etc- but I just can’t trust them.

You can trust them, especially at a parts store. 2.0kw is what you want.

Assuming it's a manual, then you want to get the 2009+ manual one.

This is a bandaid fix, though. Just saying.

I bought miine from Amazon. 2.0KW manual tranny starter. Cranking at around 300rpm.
