this is so dumb in regards to fuel pump

in taking out the fuel pump we couldnt get if off so my friend decides to saw it off since we had a new ring well in the meantime while he was trying to get it off he snapped all the lock mechnisim along the sides it was working then i went to filll it up an gushing all over. anyone have a mcgyver idea i cant afford a new tank but i can afford being blowed upl i though about perm seal and i cant find the part wth th notches. anywhere to buy. please help

fypo i can afford to go up in smoke. and i know there are sealnts that are gas non disolving just need it pressurized locked

Replace this part

Make sure the o-ring is present and not pinched or damaged.
Replace with this if it is missing or damaged:

Search the part numbers in google and you can probably find them cheaper

And buy the proper tool to remove and install the fuel pump ring. That tool is a lot cheaper than your car, and the safety/lives of yourself and those around you.

Agree 100% with this. But since the deed is done there is no going back. Also, angle grinding right next to the fuel pump is probably not the best idea.
