Hi guys , today I drove tge car hard putting the windows down, and when I was acciletting hard I smelt fuel ,
is it normal??

 

I don't think so.
I accelerate hard all the time and don't smell fuel.
You should do a thorough examination to be sure you don't have a fuel leak, that could be very dangerous.

 

Raw fuel, like from the pump, or burned fuel, like the exhaust. If raw fuel, dangerous. If burned fuel, you still need to figure out why.

 

Hello all. I'm new and own an rx8 2007. I don't really put my foot down or drive it hard
I have an issue with the smell of fuel. I start it up I go inside why it's warming up( I was told not to drive it cold) the rx8 is maybe 27 steps away from the front door it trully smells bad. When I'm in the car I don't smell it. Any ideas or am I just over thinking that there is something wrong. Thanks in advance.

 

Do you have a catalytic converter?
If so, it could be bad.

 

Yes is sure does. It was replaced I was told last October. I was told this by Rolf motors.
