Hi there im new to all this but I'm really stuggling to find a answer anywhere ( and I've looked) that explains mine...

Basically ive had my 8 for a year now, 228 manual. 37000mi on the clock. I've always looked after her serviced and the extra oil changes every 3000mi I red line it once everytime I drive it. it's allways run fine smooth power.

The problem is this, about 2 months ago it started to hesitate on acceleration ( not bad like I keep reading just enough to feel it) when you put your foot down in low revs as it revs up the power builds up then just as it should really 'take off' it eases off at about 5-600rpm then after 7000 it's fine again. Passengers say they can't really feel anything but It just doesn't feel as fast. Since that I've changes the coils to bhr new leads and plugs. It's still doing it. Has anyone else had this problem?fancy sharing because it's doing my head in!
I'm at a loss.

sounds like possibly ssv is gummed up

2007..... Is that an easy job then? I've heard they stick would some carbon cleaner help?

My 07 had a rough pull back at 6krpm.. Check engine light came on a few days after I noticed it and wham, SSV code! :-(
