Is it safe to use liqui moly engine detox to flush the engine?
I own a series 2 rx8. 64000kms manual
I am looking to use liqui moly engine detox to flush the engine.
I prepare 15L Castrol 10w40 to flush the engine.
Is it good to use it?
Anyone use it before?
Thanks

I would never use any engine flush product.
Imagine having a thin skin coating all internal oil lines, galleys, passageways, etc. Now imagine that skin being peeled off and forming little ***** of gunk inside all those oil lines, galleys, passageways, etc.

Nothing
No problem with my rx8, just want to make it even better. The car runs well. Engine still really strong. I replace almost everything recently. Engine oil, filter, brake pad, brake fluid, transmission oil, lsd oil, coolant, spark plugs, coils. New short shifter , mid pipe and a header.
I am looking to make it even better. Will that liqui moly helps? It claims will help the engine get more performance, more compression and clean.

If you had a 200,000 mile Buick on its 3rd oil change, those claims might be true. I wouldn't risk it in your car. As you say, it runs fine. If you do your oil changes on time, there is nothing for this product to do.
