which brand of engine oil for RX-8 you guys prefer????

does anyone tried " Fujita engineering " engine oil b4 ???

May I suggest peanut oil(unless your allergic to peanuts of course),as it won't break-down under higher temps.

I use Castrol. Pretty much because classic rotaries, like the Le Rhone, used castor oil, and Castrol was the closest thing I could find that had the correct API rating.

I run Mobil 1 synthetic, preferably becuz i havent had a problem with it plus i get it free.........from work...........but prior i was runnin castrol syntec............good stuff as well.

you guys with castrol, are you using their dino, or their "full synthetic"?

I use Mazola for my needs. Yep it smells good as well !

Oh wait, u said engine oil hmm

I tried RP, Castrol Syntec, Quakers State Advance Q

I like RP.

Dino.

Like I said before, I wanted castor oil because that's what the classic rotaries use, and Castrol was the closest thing to that spelling. I prefer dino because I have this mental image of giving a big slug of castor oil to a dinosaur, then standing back a safe distance and watching.

If it helps, castrol's full synthetic isn't really what you might think it is

5W-20 (mostly Pennzoil) - thin is in!
