Hey, I’ve had my 2007 rx8 automatic for about a month now. Bought it with 105 000 km on it. No I didn’t do a compression test and still don’t know if it’s the engine that went. I was driving it one day it started to shake so I pulled over and turned it off. I supposedly ran outta gas (when it said I had a quarter tank) so my dad thought I spoiled the spark plugs, replaced those, didn’t work, read online, replaced the coils and coils wires, still not working. It was flooded after the whole shaking thing so I unflooded it, and now every hour maybe I can get it started but it doesn’t sound good and I have to feather gas to keep it on while gas fumes with the smell of oil come out of my exhaust and hood of my car. Please help

there was a check engine light and the code said cylinder 2 misfire, there was one spoiled spark plug the 2cmd one.
