Yes, I agree. It just won't refire and keeps reflooding because his ignition is completely shot.

 

Have a feeling that the motor is overheated and leaking coolant into it.
Since he started the car with a broken radiator, and god knows how much coolant was left in there. OP mentioned he only started up for a short time, but still, it's a possibility.
Plus, only smoke comes out when he tried push/pull/down hill start...

 

I tried puling it wih a truck and I ended up breaking that piece where the air bag sensor is at and my dad says it wants to turn on but it needs very little to finally turn on and he doesnt know how to help me and just rubs it in my face cuz he always told me not to buy a mazda. RIWWP that makes sense on how it doesnt turn on but see if I replace the ignition and I want to try to get my money back I would of put so much money into it. The dealer I got it from says his mechanic cantfind the problem since he supposly changed the ignition but j marked them and they are still the same ones and I told him but he said he would call me back and he never did. He gave me the option to trade the car or get my money back or to discount a 1000 dollars since h couldnt fix the misfire. I tool the 1000 discount like a fool. And he said there is no goin back even though im technically still under his warranty but I stopped paying him for a while. If I knew for 100% the misfire was the ignition I would change it but I just dont know what to do I love this car

Nowhere. Unless you borrow a set of a local member to test before buying a set yourself.

 

Since the misfire is on cylinder 2 right which is rear rotor, can I just switch the rear rotors coils and spark plugs. If so which coils are rwar rotor.

 

Listen Eliseo, try all the tricks to see if it starts, open the fuel line in the engine see if the pump is pumping, napkin with gas in front of the throttle bottle trick, just narrow it down and if you don't find anything just KEEP on with the deflood tricks. I ordered a starter and everything thinking maybe its this maybe its that. Save your money and spend a solid 3 or 4 hours if you have to trying to deflood, hold the pedal for ten while cranking wait, ten seconds, do it for twenty give it a rest just keep doing all the tricks to deflood it, because I didn't even put any of the 200-250 dollars in parts I bought for mine thinking something isn't functoning, finally sat in my drive watching youtube videos, and whatever else to gather tricks of deflooding it, after about three hours it cranked and stalled 4 times and finally cranked all the way for a bit sounded like *** smoked, cleared out and runs better then it did. Faster start ect. I didn't listen to these people telling me to deflood and deflood, i tried it and gave up multiple times. For that reason alone it sat in my driveway about a month AND WAS ONLY flooded. when I though it was something else. Just keep that in mind...hope it starts.

All coils are identical. You can swap them around you please as long as they are in the right order.

However each rotor has a leading and trailing plug. You can only swap a trailing with a trailing and a leading with a leading.

Swapping them around though isnt gonna make a difference

Get a damn compression test mate and go from there

 

Jaysrx8 but ive read that trying to deflood by cranking and cranking doing the gas to the floor thingy after a while it messes up the rotor housing. Thats why im just trying to pull starting it because its supposed to be the more effective wag but ima switch the ignition and hpoe that the reason for my misfire .

 

But mate if its flooded, switching your ignition wont do anything.

Have you pulled of your cat converter and tried starting it?

Seems like you are continually flooding it whilst trying to start it with a completely bad ignition system(at the very least).

If it won't pull start relatively easily...you likely have something hooked up wrong from your pissing around

Start at the beginning and check EVERYTHING....all the ign plugs and everything that you disconnected to make sure they are correct...

Then and only then pull start it till it runs

So..
1) you flooded when you started moving it around. So it's still flooded.
2) the misfire you have and the inability to start almost certainly means your ignition failed some time ago, and now it can't overcome the flood condition because of it.

So what you're going to do is get new ignition coils, because there is no sense in trying to do anything without it, then pull/clean/inspect/replace if needed the spark plugs, and only then try to start with the gas pedal to the floor trick (or towing if you prefer).

Then you'll inspect your catalytic converter because you probably need a replacement from driving around with a misfire and failing ignition. And if you find it's clogged/broken, you'll actually replace it, not continue driving and killing your engine.

Wouldn't be a bad idea to do a compression test while you have the spark plugs out...

 

I keep going back to: He needs to confirm that he has fuel and spark.

You can pull any car you want, but if you are STILL missing spark and/or fuel, it's never going to fire. I ran into that problem on a Miata. An engine block ground failed, ignition wouldn't fire the plugs any more because of that, and I pulled it up and down the street trying to get it to fire and it never would. I found the problem only when i actually went to test for a spark.

VERIFY FUEL AND SPARK!

How do I check for a spark and for fuel. Im not to worried about the catalytic converter since i can just chop it off off and be legal. And would a ragular compression test work on these because the one my dad used said it had 50 in the front and 50 in the rear rotor

 

Buy a $5 coil tester, it looks like a spark plug with a clamp. Pull the wire off of one plug at a time, plug it onto the tester, clamp the tester to a metal part of the frame, and try to start while someone watches it. You should have a clear spark present on I believe both leading (lower) plug wires. I don't think the trailing fire during startup, but not sure.

Check for fuel by pulling the spark plugs, putting a clean cloth across the holes, and crank over the engine briefly. You should be getting fuel sprayed out onto the cloth from plug holes in both housings. Make sure you don't have the wire ends sitting there sparking next to spraying fuel obviously.

 

if that is 50 PSI, either A) Your engine is completely shot or B) your dad did it wrong, or C) you have an insanely slow starter speed.

Using a regular compression tester isn't nearly sufficient, since you need the value of each rotor face independently AND the cranking speed of the engine during the test. Without all 7 values, the test is worthless.

 

Can u put a picture of what that coil tester looks like.
