Hello i'm thinking about buying this rx8. Can someone help me with some information. I would like to know what parts i need and how much it would cost to repair.

 

I wouldnt buy it. Not even seeing the outside already tells me bad things. Seeing the inside missing some parts and looking a little off, that just makes it worse. Then theres the engine bay.... oh man, thats rough. If the body were in great shape (near perfect), and youre willing to take on a big project, i would say pay no more than $500.

 

You are missing a lot of intake manifold and under hood stuff. Interior isn't too big a deal....but looks pretty rough.

is it an 2004-2005Automatic?

Looks like it was flooded? Needs an ECU, intake manifold and a lot of other stuff under the hiod. if it was under water I wouldn't take it for free if you want to get it running.... its basically a parts car I would think.

 

Get $500 off him to take it away

 

Suppose you replaced all the missing parts, you still don't know if that engine is worth saving. There are far better RX8s with at least a known history out there.

 

Yep, looks like a parts car to me.

 

Engine bay looks like it went through the purge, I'd stay away.
