Alright Gents. I'm new on here and just picked up a 2005 RX8. Just picked up a Borla Cat-Back system and MazdaSpeed cold air intake (long pipe). Everything else is stock. I want to do a complete rebuild but am looking for suggestions... so... let me have it!

 

why did you start two of the same threads? why are you rebuilding it? have you ever rebuilt a rotary?

Are you rebuilding the car or the engine or both. The engine is not you garden variety re-build. I have done V8's, 4 Cyl, Outboards, and small stuff. The only common parts and processes seem to be that hey have bolts holding parts together and the oil makes a mess. I suggest professional help on the engine part, but as for the rest, go for it man. We can help a lot, and would likely love to.
