Rx8 giving me loud noises! Please read

Okay first and foremost i have spent all night last night and today searching for my issue but everyone seems to be have different issue from mine.

I have a 2005 automatic rx8 with a new engine from dealer 15k miles on it so far and 83k miles on the whole car. It has new cat/wires/plugs from when the dealer replaced my engine last April.

Yesterday it rained A LOT and unfortunately there was big big puddle of water everywhere that i couldn't avoid. Now as soon as i went over one big puddle the problem began. LOUD NASTY rattling coming from the front cup holder under the car near the shifter and the right side of the passenger door. If I have my car on Drive with the brake pressed it's making the loud noise. If i move it to neutral the noise kind mutes out but its there a lot less but nonetheless there.

Now the worst part is when i gun it hit over 6k rpms and my car hits the 60mph mark the loudest grinding sound comes to life and then after 65mph it goes back down.

No CEL lights on no issue turning the car on so far.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. Appreciate it.

Loud grinding noise is no good I would take it in to get looked at.

Now I own a 05 manual and there is a street I have to take to get to my house that gets flooded all the time and submerges my entire lower end of the vehicle just to get threw it also it is lowered so I get full impact going threw some nice decent puddles. No matter how fun it is blasting threw them I have eased away from riding my car on a nasty day, I normally throw my car in neutral before I blast threw it to give the engine time to slow down a bit but I have never experienced loud grinding noises after doing so. I get the occasional rumble for a short time when the car is in idle never a grinding noise.

Definitely get it checked

That's good then my insurance wouldn't even tow my car to the dealership when I pay for free roadside assistance and when I finally bitched them out they towed it but I was charged an overage fee even though it was only 10 miles away from the dealership where I broke down one time. Get this the lady said they only tow broken down vehicles for free and she couldn't understand what a clutch was when my bracket snapped and couldn't drive the vehicle.
