Hi everyone just join in an i read some important thread.
i bought a 04 rx8 an 2 weeks after i dove about 5miles an the car start overheating and stall i tey getting it start after that by towing it with a next car when it finally stat it making a loud noise feom the engine and engine oil leaking heavy.should i buy a rebuild kit are a remanufacture engine.i its been park 6months now pls help

if you over heated it and its guching oil you probably need a new engine at which point the cheapest option is to get a mazda reman for about $3500. it may not need a new engine but sounds like it may. can you provide more details?

Thanks for answering.Well yea it over heat the temoreture wwent all the the way up.am i would like to know if my router are router housing is damage from all that heat

It over heat for i say 30 min the most.

Am all the way in the caribbean the cayman island so cheapest way out would be better because of shipping cost

Yeah .. 30 seconds is too much. 30 minutes it is certainly toast.

thirty minutes???????? 30 seconds is probably ok, 30min your engine is toast. get a reman from mazda. before you swap in a new engine please read the new onewers threads at least twice and learn the car
