I think my fear has been confirmed, and its time for a new engine.

before spending 2g on another rx8 engine for it to break again

Is there any other engine that will fit in it

Or can any of you recommend where to get a good/rebuilt engine

 

any other engine besides a renny will cost you double what a running 8 is worth. if your looking for a rebuild pm kevin at rr

 

RR is good. Where are you? Might be a shop close that has good credentials. Save bucks on shipping.

I would get on the UK Rx8club site and ask there who is reputable.

 

The only direct drop in engine is the Renesis, everything else is an engine conversion that requires far more parts then just the replacement/rebuilt shortblock.

 

I seem to remember something about Petit having a UK site. Just not sure where. They have a pretty good rep here. They are likely who I would use when my time comes.
