RX-8 Fixes/mods

Hello! I posted a while back about some problems on my RX-8, including the radiator undertray and front splitter, as well as spark plugs. Just for an update, I finally got all the parts together, so all of that should be finished soon!

Now as for some other things, my engine code is reading that there is a CAT failure. I am not sure what it is, but running cleaner through the gas did not fix anything, so I am figuring I might just have to go through and buy a new CAT. I do not have the funds to get a stock RX-8 CAT, as what I have found is between 1-1.5K just for the CAT. I was wondering if Borla was a decent brand to go with for the CAT, and if it could cost me power. If it doesnt cost me power, I was thinking of eventually going for a full Borla system on the car, as I have always liked the sound of Borla. Also if anyone knows of where I should go to get a new center console for the best price, help? The one in my car is slightly messed up, and missing a lot of screws, so I just need to replace it.

Finally, my heated seats don't work, what are the most common issues and how to fix? I have read through all the forums, but might have missed it if that was in there, so please don't get mad and tell me to go read it, it would have been a simple mistake if I skipped over it. Thank you for all of your help!

Borla cat is no good. The cat back is. Plenty of threads regarding "best". Driving with a bad Cat can kill your engine...

Heated seats is likely a fuse or wire. Without knowing what you've checked, not much to offer you.

You can try to find a used good condition stock cat. Folls here sometimes sell them. The Borla will be a temporary solution at best, don't burn your money on it. The best course of action would be to inspect the cat for visible clogging. If it's dead replace it with a cheap midpipe until you can put a stock cat on it. And don't drive on it until you know it's not clogged.

What year is the car?
