Bought my 2008 40th Anniversary like 10 months ago, and really proud of it. I love my baby really.

I am slowly tuning it, i started with the exterior atm. Now waiting for the BHR long tube to make it faster...

I was on mazdaclubtr for a while too.
i had my turbo miata in Izmir...was even featured in Tuning Turkiye magazine.

 

Oo nice i live in istanbul but every summer i am at çeşme. I like miata too actually a friend of mine got a turbo complete carbon one too if u ever come to turkey i eould be happy to introduce you

I know the 2008 40th AE came in different colors and trim in different countries. In the US it came in Metropolitan Grey Mica exterior color and Cosmos red interior leather. Is your red the stock color for your 2008 AE RX8 in Turkey?

 

I did not know the 40th AE came with a red exterior.

As far as I know, the only options were metropolitan gray mica (with red or black/white interior depending on the country) or white with black/white in Japan I believe.

I guess you learn something new everyday.....

In this wikipedia history of the RX8 they discuss the colors of the North American and foreign 2008 40th Anniversary editions and they do not mention any factory red 40th AE. Looks like this car was repainted or is not a 40th AE

 

Awesome...yeah we have family that live in Urla & we have a summer villa in Cesme also.
This was when I first moved there in 2007 @ Kordon:

 

Yeah it is the stock color and inside is leather with white alcantra there are only 2 red 40th yeat here

 

All the other 40th years are grey here actually bıt there are 2 red ones maybe the mazda service speacialy painted them but i know that they are factory painted, and they are 40th year because it got billsteins etc.

It looks like you have the Mazdaspeed/AEM cold air intake. Am I correct ? I have one in my 40th Anniversary Edition and really like it.

 

Yes m8 you are correct, and it really works great isn't it

 

My exterior modification is over now ... I am starting engine and other modifications now i hope it will be faster now =)
