No seriously.. It's kind of weird. The R stands for Rotary, the E stands for engine, and the W is referring to Twin-Turbo.
It's pretty confusing, but I read somewhere that since the letter W has the word "double" in it, "W" is referring to Twin, meaning Twin Turbo.
