Primary Fuel Rail Insulator Install Help??

So, I've been having idling problems lately and I was like 99.9% sure that it was a vacuum leak, but couldn't find it. I made a mistake and took it to a mechanic who (Surprise!!) told me it was a vacuum leak, and that my Fuel Rail Insulator was completely busted. He then proceeded to tell me that a replacement was 90 bucks, and that labor would run me around 750. Which is bullshit. The most expensive one I found while browsing was like 27 which isn't bad at all. I decided I'd like to just replace it myself, because I don't trust them (AND THEY FLOODED MY ENGINE) but I'm not really sure how to go about it? Any help would be appreciated!!

Basically you need to remove the upper intake manifold to get at it....have to remove the intake bellows and a bunch of wire connectors and then a bunch of 10mm bolts 😎

the insulator is under the fuel rail...so you need to move that carefully ( 2 12mm bolts) so you don't screw up the fuel injector orings and don't spill fuel everywhere. . You have to remove the old lines off it and connect to the new one. They are on with some kind of adhesive so you might need to replace them and use a small zip tie to keep them secure.

nothing too difficult. ..tske pics with your phone if you don't think you will remember where everything goes. .
