Hi All.

I'm relatively new to the RX8 experience but am completely LOVING it and LOVING the car.....here's my problem....

The chap I bought the vehicle from said that the heater was stuck on 22 degrees as the updated stereo / dvd/ sat nav / rear camera unit etc had been wired in wrong.

Basically I am unable to 1. Turn the heater off completely, 2. I can't adjust temperature AT ALL, 3. The steering wheel controls DO NOT WORK.

The only function I can control is the middle button ( a/c and direction of air flow etc)


I have attached a photo of the unit which shows my issue.

The rules state that your thread titles have to be clear on what is inside. We shouldn't have to open the thread to find out what it's about.

Sounds like you will need to have someone dig through the aftermarket system to figure out what is disconnected / disabled.
