Picked up this beauty
Picked up this 2009 Sport with 68700 miles for $7,000. Single owner had all maintenance done at local Mazda Dealership so great records.

Thanks test drove about 6-7. Compression tested another that I had to walk away from since it needed a rebuild. Then saw this one pop up and had to have it.

Looks good!
Funny that most of the S2s I have seen are R3... A couple of GTs, and one Sport on the local Crapslist that is also an AT...
Looks like you did your homework. Have you done maintenance yet?

it's so weird to me, it's like they went backwards when doing the interior in the s2 vs the s1. Idk, maybe it's just me but it looks so much better in the s1. Nice find though for 7k and good compression.

Yes went through the maintenance on it.
The only real differences are the steering wheel, radio, and guages. I plan on changing out the stereo, but do prefer the S1 steering wheel.
l was wondering how much of a pain those where to remove.

Sport Trim doesn't come with the Bose audio or the subwoofer.
I personally prefer the S2 steering wheel. S1 one is quite rounded.

Not to get too particular but if I could have the S1 steering wheel controls on the S2 wheel that would probably be my happy medium. The S2 just feel a little mechanical almost cheap. I'm going to end up putting a full Alpine system with sub in any way.

Sounds like a plan! And wow! The sun really makes the Crystal White Mica paint really pop. Looks super clean too!
