I've had it up to my eyebrows with the transmission.....it is terribly "notchy" and sometimes even "grindy" especially in second gear.

I live in ATlanta. I'm taking it to Jime Ellis Mazda in Chamblee for the work this coming Monday.

I hope they don't mess anything up.....the forman said this is the "first" time they've had to tear open the clutch/tranny.

Er, you may want to ask in the SE Area Forum about the service there! I found out before I purchased that Jim Ellis is a volume dealer with a REALLY BAD SERVICE DEPT.!!!

I would consult with the masses from ATL. :D
