performance tuner

what is a good performance tuner chip to get for a 04 rx8 ( 6 sp manual , cat. removed )

There's a new type of chip we are getting here now called 'proper chips' ...... straight cut ! None of this ripple cut rubbish!

None. This car is tuned via AccessPort or Mazdaedit, which allows you or someone who knows what they're doing to program the ECU.

If someone tells you otherwise, they are trying to tune your wallet.

"Performance chips" in general are a scam.


Even legit tunes won't really get you much on this car.

My advice for power on this car is either don't bother or throw a turbo on it. You can spend a ton of money on NA mods that do diddly squat while the same money can be saved up for a turbo kit.
