Oil like substance leak

Oil like substance leak

This substabce is no where near to the oil that i put on the car my check engine light is on car still runs fine it supposedly has a rotor misfire and its a new engine build by mazda i dont have the papers but the blue tag is still on the engine

I hope that didn't come from inside the engine. I dont even have anything that looks like that in my engine compartment.

Where did the fuzz come from?

Infront of the engine its all over the covers and the mifdle wheel of the engine where it has the band it doesn't drip the the floor though it stays by what im guesing is the rack & pinion

Most front oil leaks are either the Metering oil pump or the front seal.

MOP is usually an easy fix...it has an o-ring seal
Front seal is a bit tricky so you don't mess up the front stack....

Best thing to do is clean it all up...and then watch to see where it is coming from
