My name is Cole, I'm from New Zealand

About 6 months ago I picked up my latest RX8.



Its a 4 port 5 Speed car (japanese import)
I brought it as a rolling body complete less engine.

Since then i have been researching everything needed to fit a 1JZ-GTE.

This wasn't my first engine choice but my original K24 proved to be far too tall to fit into the bay and still close the bonnet.

I got myself a 1JZ engine in preparation to fit to the car.
It began life in a JZXX110 and had a front sump, this was quickly exchanged for the rear sump to work with the RX8.



I brought my gearbox adapter and flywheel from PMC motorsport in Poland and its amazing.
Its a top quality piece of kit.


I'm looking forward to getting into this one.
