I just bought an rx8 from a guy I know who had let it sit due to being in the hospital. Took a bit to start it, but I got it going and it ran great! Now it's starting to have an intermittent hot start issue which I'm finding is pretty common :/
Don't want to bury myself in the car, so with that being said I'm willing to try some cheap and easy fixes, but don't have a lot of time or funds to drop into this thing... So not sure if I should sell it to someone that knows what they're doing or try a few things... I like the car but haven't fell in love with yet to want to go crazy fixing it...

Problem number 5 is what you're looking for. Based on countless hours of research last few weeks, everyone's going to say to get a compression test see what kind of life the engine has.
