New RX8 owner here

Newbie here, looks to be a great place. Not my first rotary, owned a 1985 GSL SE RX7 back in the day. Excellent car. As of recently I have wanted a project, I have picked up a 2005 RX8, low compression engine but the car is in excellent shape. 6 speed manual. I am going to rebuild the engine, have all the tools and very mechanically inclined with engines just not rotary. I have been doing the homework and the seals, condition of used parts(housings, irons, rotors). I have bought the official Mazda workshop manual but very disappointed in not finding anything about actually tearing down the engine. Is there a manual for the actual separation and rebuilding with tolerances manual? From all the YouTube videos out on this subject I have probably gleaned enough information to do the job but I would really like to have the Mazda How To book. Does it exist? Thanks for any information and thanks for letting me be a part of a great information source. As I get closer to the actual build I would like to hear what particular apex seals and side seals are the best. I have been reading in this forum and it seems to be a touchy subject as to quality of parts and from whom you buy them. This is not a race car....just want it back to stock daily driver.

Kind regards,

Randy
