GA New RX-8 owner

Hi all

First, thank you for having this awesome site! Just wanted to introduce myself..my name is Paree, I just bought a 2005 RX-8 on Monday and was online trying to learn as much as I can about my new ride. My first question here would have been "what do I need to know about this car?", but after pouring through these threads I no longer have to ask that- seems you guys have everything covered pretty well!
I've been driving an MX-3 for the past 9 (count em, NINE) years, and got so much valuable info and help from an online MX-3 club that I was psyched when I found you guys! Looking forward to reading as much as I can on here, and learning how to take care of my new baby
Thanks again for all of the time and effort that you clearly put into this informative website!

Welcome.
I'm assuming you have read the new owner stickies.
If not, that's the best place to start.
Have fun!

What BigC is referring to is this: RX8Club.com - Announcements in Forum : New Member Forum
It is found at the top of the New Member forum. It contains the collective wisdom of the most experienced members of the site and will answer over 90% of the questions you have at the moment. You will find other answers in the stickies found at the top of the other forums on this site. Even to us that owned rotary vehicles before, there was a learning curve to the RX8.

Good Luck, I'm sure you'll like and have fun with the car. It's the best one I've ever owned.

Welcome aboard, sounds like you have read the stickies, great. I hope you have the same love affair for rotaries that I have enjoyed for the past 41years of driving them (an old guy, young at heart with a 2008 40th Anniversary Edition RX8).

Again welcome !!

Thank you guys, for the warm welcome! At this point, I know very little about these cars- but reading up on as much as I can. I do know that I loved (and STILL love) my Mazda MX-3, it was a great car up until recently..but I love this RX8 so far!! There is so much valuable info in these threads-wow

Oh...and yes, I have been hittin' the stickies!

Welcome to the forum! I'm new on here as well, I inherited the maintenance of my fiance's 2010 rx8 and found that this forum has THE BEST information when it comes to properly maintaining them... as well as some awesome people that have no problem sharing their wealth of knowledge!
