Need new clutch

I need a new clutch in my 04 rx8 6-speed.
I looked and found one on ebay,this is the title EXEDY-XTR STAGE 1 CLUTCH KIT+PRO-RACING FLYWHEEL 2004-2011 MAZDA RX-8 RX8 1.3L
will this work? the concern that I have is that it says its for 04-2011 and I know mazda made a lot of changes from 1st and 2nd gen rx8's and im not sure if the clutch is one of them.
please let me know what you guys think, I cant afford to waste my time or money right now

Just get the Exedy OEM clutch kit: Exedy Factory Clutch Kit, RX-8 | Black Halo Racing

The OEM one is more torque than your N/A 8 can throw at it, will last 80k+, will fit perfectly, and is cheaper than anything else reputable. There really isn't a reason to go with anything else.

It's got the same part number. That's quite a price drop. Makes me wonder how they can offer it so low, since BHR's $400 price isn't much markup. They seem to be reputable though.

Dunno. I've got too much background in dealing with stolen goods and fraudulent/counterfeit goods for me to trust something that is for sale so far below cost. But, not my money that's buying it and not my money that has to pay to fix it if there is a problem. Your choice.

There isn't a 60% markup because it comes from Japan from one seller where "it comes from Japan" is still true for all the other sellers. Even if it passes through Exedy USA first, it won't pick up that big of a markup. In fact it would probably be lower, since Exedy USA would get their clutches a full container at a time. I doubt this seller has a magically cheaper way of shipping them.

Be cautious when buying from ebay. exedy is a good brand but you need to make sure you have the right kit. I was through this ordeal over the last month and I bought one clutch kit that shattered in 20 miles. find Atkinsrotary on ebay and buy their exedy OEM replacement kit. it will do more than enough for a stock or near stock rx8. if I would have done this from my first buy, it would have saved me nearly 1000 dollars. 2x labor and 2 clutches later I have way too much money into this job and I hope its not too late to stop you from doing the same. the kit I bought was 360 dollars and came with pilot and throw out bearing, as well as clutch and pressure plate.
