I have 2004 RX8 was having problems with the cooling fans and replaced them, ever since then I have been having power loss problems, it would idle rough and the shutdown, if I unplug the mass air flow sensor it would idle all day, but if I try to drive, it goes into limp mode... And shuts down when I come to a stop

 

Is your check engine light on? If so, get the code read and post it here.

Yes the check engine light is on. It was giving the error that it was misfiring and o2 sensor

 

What were the codes? The devil is in the details.

 

Oh it's misfiring? New coils, wires and spark plugs. Maybe new cat if it has been going on for a while. Maybe new engine if it has been going for a long while.

It *could * be other things, but if those basics aren't known good, there's no point talking about them
