My intake hose is cracked time for an upgrade?

so my intake hose is cracked and I figured it's time to upgrade to a cold air intake or if there is a way to make my own short ram I guess. Any suggestions would be nice.

AEM/MazdaSpeed or RacingBeat. Everything else is not an improvement at best, a reduction in power and stability at worst. The stock intake is VERY good, and a short ram would make no sense on this car.

That crack isn't doing your fuel trims any favours.

Don't do a short ram unless you like less power and higher chance of detonation.

I love Mazdaspeed stuff, but they are usually very pricey. I had a Mazdaspeed suspension on my previous rx8

Accurate. There's very little engine performance to be gained with bolt-ons on this car, but they do lighten your wallet.
