Missing Tag Light?
Hey guys, I just noticed while detailing my 8 that I am missing something that appears to be a tag light cover but I'm not sure exactly. I can stick my whole hand in here and I can feel a wire plugged into something but when I turn on my headlights I don't see any kind of light shining here. Anyone have a part number possibly? Thanks!

Second Picture ... the greyish thing over your hand. Pry it open from the back using tape-wrapped flat head screwdriver. You have to pry between the grey thing and the clear lens.
There is a bulb behind ... replace broken bulb with new one. Voila!
Dont Know why Mazda made this big hole ... u r lucky in the U.S. .. u only have one ... we have 2 big holes there in Europe =)

Missing Tag Light?
I think you should change the bulbs
1.Pry the lenses out with a flat head screwdriver. The bulb is usually in a fixed position above the lens. Some lenses will unscrew with a Phillips head screwdriver.
2.Unscrew the bulb with your fingers. The bulb will pop out.
3.Replace the bulb with a new one. Make sure the bulbs are the same type.
4.Screw the bulb into the slot. It will be in place when you cannot turn it anymore.
5.Pop the lens back in its place. It should go right into place.
