Misfiring after fuel cut rev limiter

Hi! I´m beginning here!
My 8 AT 2007 44K (no cat) misfired and stopped after reached the rev limiter. The car was towed to my garage. I changed sparks plugs, coins and wires.
The 08 still misfiring with detonation. The obd presents P2195 and P0171.
Another information: on the trip occurred 2 months ago, the fuel pump had heating problems after two hours traveling and began to fail and then stop. I expected to cool or supplied gas and returned to normal. After that I didn´t run longer journeys (more than 30 mi).
I think with the action of the fuel cutting system, the defect of the pump may have worsened.
I wait comments.

If you know you have a bad pump...change it.....

They don't majically heal themselves 😎

Yeah! I´ll try do change it by myself next weekend. If it won´t solved the problem, I´ll try a compression test.

Rotary specific compression test.

Yeap! Did this 2 years ago. More information: the coolant is OK, there isn't water/oil/unusual smoke in the exhaust, trembling in idle, temperature is ok.

A lot can happen in 2 years.

What were the results 2 years ago?

You're correct! High rev in cold can kill the rotaries. I'm very atencious with that.

Results were in yellow zone (psi, 190 rpm):
Front: 90,84,83 Rear: 85,84,89

Before the issue happened (misfiring after reached rev cut limiter), no problems with hot start and misfires. Just a fuel pump failure (heated) after 2h running in a 3kmi trip.

I think that the rev cut lim could be the last hammering at the apex seal (engine). Need to do a compression test, but in my city there isn't a rotary compression test. What alternative test can I do?

New discover: today started the car and idling for 15 min. Than accelerate per 2 min in 4-6 k rev and checked the cat wich was RED (could be clogged). This is a high flow cat. I have the OEM and will change it as soon as posible.

Dallas, I've looking the mentioned thread and unfortunely, I'm going to the problem *8 (low compression).

Bad news: today changed the cat and the problems remain. Next step: compression test.

Did a compression test and BINGO! Rotor 1 without compression.
Pay attention with rev limiter cut!

Hitting the rev limiter shouldn't do that . More likely the fuel pump issue or the clogged cat caused it .
