milky oil?

Ok guys, so when I pull my dip stick its got this creamy thick looking stuff on it. It kind of looks like some type of grease but I know its not, I've checked my oil multiple times and wiped it off and it ends up back on there. Im almost afraid to ask, but is this a sign of coolant mixing with engine oil? Good thing is I bought the added warranty. Please give me your input. Thanks in advance!

If you do a quick search you can find the answer, this is a super common topic and plenty of people have asked before you.

Go to google.

Type this in:

site:rx8club.com milky dipstick

or whatever else you want to search, and bam. There's your answer.

- Discolored or foamy substance on dipstick. The oil collects moisture in colder ambient temperatures. You may notice that the dipstick will look like it has wierd discoloration. This has been discribed as foamy, milkshake, white crap, brown oil, etc... This is normal, and nothing of concern. If you want, you can pay a large chunk of money to make it go away, but there is no harm to it, so just ignore it. Drive your engine harder to cook it off if it bothers you.
