low coolant light on????
sounds like the coolant sensor is faulty. this is a fairly common issue with the series 1. there are some threads on here that can help you diagnose. Sorry I would post a link but I am on mobile

Look for a thread on the coolant bottle. It is a common problem. I just disconnected mine.
Another issue is that, at higher RPM, the water pump will cavitate a bit and foam the coolant. The sensor will not float in the foam.

I've had my 8 for about four years my light came on three months in. I just unplugged it and check level when I check oil level. So just unplug it and make sure you check it at least once a week.

Cavitation is the formation of vapor bubbles (think steam) due to the ultra low pressure immediately behind an impeller blade, any bubbles from this implode and disappear almost immediately after leaving the impeller.
