Looking to become a rx8 owner
So i am in the market for a new car and after looking for a bit i think i found a decent rx8. Its a 2009 rx8 sport, its manual, and only has 17k miles on it, and the price is $15,249. I checked the car fax and it only had one owner and has 5 reported oil changes and no accident reports (is that a good price for that car? thought it was cheap). But I know the responsibility that comes with the car and im sure i can handle it.
Now i just have a couple of questions: Is the rx8 a good daily driver? (coming from a 3000gt sl and its getting old) I live in north Jersey and work 20 miles away from home and i take the parkway for 16 miles and the 4 miles are town driving.
Also is there anything i should look for when i am test driving the car, like any noises or anything. And lastly do you guys have any tips for me?
Thanks for the help i hope i can be a proud rx8 owner like the rest of you

Is that RX-8 at Bridgewater Acura? Velocity Red? If so, I have test driven that exact car. Price, mileage, and location all match. Nothing I could find wrong with it, so you can be confident on that score.
I daily drove my 2005 for 5.5 years, 105,000 miles, year round, highways, city streets, you name it. If the fuel costs don't bother you, then yeah, it's fantastic

If they direct you to the salesman Samir, avoid at all costs. No idea why he is working at a dealership that pushes sports cars. He has zero idea why someone would want to buy one.
If you have to, ask to speak to the general Manager Mike Lasko, he is a sports car enthusiast and will make sure you aren't shrugged off.

What is wild is that I too am from North Jersey, and made the switch from my 96 3000GT SL over to the rx8. I love it. But there is a part of me that really wants a 3000GT again (I would keep the 8 of course).
