Electrical fire (Ignition coil to engine wiring harness)

Installed ignition coils, wires, plugs. About one month later had an electrical fire where the engine harness wiring meets the ignition coil connector furthest away from the front of the car. I noticed the smoke, immediately pulled over, looked around and saw the melted coil connector. Fired it back up, no smoke or anything, the coil connector looked melted/burnt but engine was feeling totally normal, drove home with no misfires or power problems etc. Next day car wont turn over at all, Ignition relay was blown but all fuses look fine. The engine immobilizer flashes very quickly when keys are to the "ON" position. Replaced ignition relay, tried unplugging both battery terminals, but cant get immobilizer to quit flashing and car will not turn over.

So..... do I have to replace the entire engine harness because the connector going to the last ignition coil is pooched? Is there some sort of adapter I can get and just buy one ignition coil? Why will my engine immobilizer not go away? I never had any check engine lights or problems with the running of the engine at any time. Someone please help!

Man, fix your post. You will need to repair the harness. Try and find someone who has cut one up. This is a very rare issue, were you using OEM coils?

Yes OEM coils. I would fix the harness but I cannot find a used one for the life of me here in Canada, and the dealer is charging an astronomical amount because theyd have to replace the entire harness, instead of rewiring the one coil. Thanks to whoever fixed my post, I copied and pasted and somehow it was messed.
