Hey , guy looking to get more hp on the 8, I’m looking for a local tuner or shop in United states, south Florida ( Miami , ft lauder , palm beach) my caí , lightweight flywheel are on the way, I call Rotarywerks but it seems like they moving away from rx8 performance.

also anyone knows where I can get a used turbo kit preferably greddy or rx8 performance, will to go up to 3k.

You may be better off swapping a REW instead. You can probably piece a turbo kit together but all in all a REW is a better platform for that.

What CAI did you get? If it's not an AEM/MazdaSpeed/Racing Beat, they're a downgrade in performance and reliability.

REW ??? Not familiar with it not sure what you mean , sorry this is my second 8 but the first one I left stock was my daily,
now a daily a maxima, funny thing is faster but boring lol. I want to make this 8 a clean turbo build

 

The REW he referred to is a motor swap from the RX7.

You could probably find a turbo kit for sale here on the forum if you look in the parts sections. Your price tag limits what you will be able to get, i'd bet it would be a basic greddy kit.

Thanks , I figured REW referred to a engine, but I really want to keep to renesis , not looking for crazy HP just a clean but nasty looking turbo kit
