Intermittent clunking while under load/revving while moving
New to rotary ownership, and this forum, which I have used to solve every problem but 1:
I intermittently get a clunking noise while in motion, either under load or not, that seems to coincide with the revs. If I'm stopped or moving slowly and rev the engine, smooth as can be. But if I'm in full motion, either in gear, or neutral, I get a clunking/thumping sound that matches my revving. The car is a 2004 MT, Pettit built OTS engine about 30k miles ago, RB intake, RB exhaust, RB mid pipe, Tein springs on stock struts. This is how I purchased the car, none of the mods were done by me. Any suggestions of what this gremlin might be would be greatly appreciated!!

Can you localize it at all? is it coming from the engine itself or the body? Do you feel it in any of the pedals or through the floor or through the shifter?
I'd check the motor mounts. When you say it matches your revving, do you mean it occurs when you rev, or it's a rapidly repeating sound that gets faster with rpm?
