I want to increase power without touching the engine
Hello I have a Mazda RX-8 August 2004 since last year , I put a Pflow print a booster, as exhaust catalytic converter performance , magnaflow full .... and heades but I find , what still lacks juice haha I want to make it any worse 300 350 HP to be more premium? on the start you have suggestions for true connoisseurs me my Rx -8 is a gem, thank you
Can't understand you 100% byut it sounds like what you need is a small turbo like the Greddy . Quite a big undertaking though so I hope you have the skills and $ to di it properly ,
T'es tu de Quebec au quelque part?
Long story short: to reach 300+ you need a turbo.
You can attach pictures to your post, there is an attachment button. Or put them on photobucket and post the link here.
List specifically what you added to the car, some of those mods, like the Pflow, might be losing you power. How old are your ignition coils/spark plugs/wires? There is power to be found by replacing these if they're old (and it could save your engine).

Guideline: Estimated power 'caps' are ~230whp NA and ~400whp turbocharged. That being said, getting past ~215whp NA gets very expensive, very quickly. Exceptions are possible, but don't expect it. Getting past ~300whp with FI will usually also involve an engine rebuild, either because you want to do it properly in the first place, or the engine you have shattered while trying. Crossing the 300whp mark also means that you can't expect that your engine will last more than ~10,000 miles. More is possible, but you can't EXPECT it. To get to 400whp you will require a complete top notch engine rebuild with significant changes to increase the strength of the engine, including the block itself. Don't expect your engine to last long. Like, maybe a few pulls.
What brand is your header?
Just so you know, these engines come near maximum power from the factory. You can't really get much more out of it, maybe 20hp if you get it ported, etc. After that it's turbo or NOS...
If they're old, that could be good for 20hp just by itself. Also... ebay coils... be careful man.

holy rust, that sub-frame will not be able to sustain stock power much longer let alone the upgrade you are seeking...but I hear there are new LED candles out for RX8 that might get you the power you need :-)
So your only real solution for big power gains is boost (or replace the rotary with something else entirely).
Soooo how much power are you making now with all the mods?
