Higher mileage RX8s

What's up my fellow RX8 brethren? I just ticked over 90k and started the journey on to the big 100 grand. I had compressions tests run alongside my 90k maintenance and everything came back good. My girl has been really good to me 😊

How are the rest of you doing with higher mileage RX8s?

04 6spd.. 267k kms
Go for BHR Coils they will save your money in the long run.
BHR's Midpipe is also pretty good I had 1 for about 6 months and 35k ..0 rasp, retained its value, was sold for $500

Perform extensive maintenance at 100k such as;
Oil change,
Coolant FLush
Tranny fluid change
Diffrentials fluids change
Service the SSV Valve
Inspect and clean the air filter box, accordian tube, throttle body
Perform the coolant pressure test
Have your radiator inspected, if you can at least replace the thermostat
Inspect the alternator belt (mine snapped)

Hope this helps you a little.

Cheers,

I have the BHR resonated midpipe, worth the expense, very nice tone, no rasp as stated before, fit & quality are excellent.

Awesome, is that all you have for your exhaust? just the midpipe or do you have anything else? i have been miserably trying to find the sound of a catless BHR midpipe with no other exhaust mods, all attempts have failed D:

Glad to know its worth it and fits perfectly. Super excited to get mine.

Stock exhaust.
I'm not a fan of loud exhaust.
It's slightly louder than stock, but sounds very nice at WOT imo.

I have a 2004 LY GT, MT, bought it 2 1/2 years ago with only 18,500 miles, just flipped 40k recently.
Besides the pipe, I have the BHR ignition, all stock otherwise.
