hey all, just a little hello, who i am thread. i bought my 04 rx8 6port about a year ago. been surfing the forums but have yet to make a thread and or comment. my first car was an fc rx7 i got from my grandma that i drove a few times and had to put away for around 7 years. got back to it, got it running and apex seal blew. bummer...the car was very rusty so instead of rebuilding that engine i bought Roxie (my rx8). just starting to be able to fix her up but its gonna be a great time. the general plan for her is to be a summer driver/hoonmobile. she was in a deer accident from one of the previous owners but that was rebuilt and she runs right as rain at 123k. a few parts show the damage still but nothing i cant fix. i look forward to being able to share the progess with you all!

I assume you looked at the reading materials, yes?

You could look into Autocross if you like driving the car hard. Very good activity that doesn't require too much commitment.

 

in wisconsin there isnt much besides oval racing and drag strips. neither im too interested in lol. not sure if there are autocross tracks. never looked into it. good idea. thanks
