I've never done this, but through reading, I know the ECU is smart enough to adjust for it. You may not have the power you would on premium gas, but it'll adjust and run just fine. Some members run exclusively octane 87 gas. Run it out and fill up with the good stuff next time.

Next time, please search. This has been beat to death.

Sorry tried to search for unleaded but I don't really know if everyone refers to it like that I already noticed the loss of power but I freaked out when I did it cause I know these cars are temperamental thanks for the answer though good luck answering it again in a week or so when another noob asks it

yup, no big deal.. if you feel your engine knocking then you may need to have the fuel drained and re-fuel it..

Just don't beat the **** out of car let it run, and then fill it wiht premium gas :-)

If your engine is already low on compression then you can just pump 87 octane and wont have any issues.

Cheers,

I never run premium. Not even on the track. 75k miles, many of them full-throttle on-track.

You'll be fine.
