Is it possible the battery cables were connected backwards (+ to -, - to +) at some point? That would definitely cause something crazy.

Please give more detail. Which lights went crazy, what does 'crazy' mean. A video would also help.

There is a panic mode in the remote that will turn on and honk horn and flash the blinkers. It won't account for the car moving though. Did you have the brake set?

So let me get this straight. The engine was off and the handbrake was engaged, you were OUTSIDE the car, and the car started to MOVE ON IT'S OWN?

I'm gonna have nightmares again

Wait maybe the handbrake doesn't work. Try pushing the car. Does it move? If it does, you've found your answer. If it doesn't, well then... run for your life.

Upload them on YouTube or Dropbox and send us the link.

Did you try pushing the car with the handbrake on? I'm guessing your handbrake isn't working.

sorry about that I was trying to quote that the car did it again, it move from the spot that I left it by itself the hand break was on and the car was on first gear and then all the lights in the car are flashing with out control besides the horrible sound of the panic horn I had to disconnect the battery again to stop it. Does anyone know why ? It could be the factory alarm what do you guys think

Certainly sounds like the alarm. Remove the horn fuse so at least it stops screaming.

Do you have a remote starter installed, by chance? That could move the car forward if accidentally activated...

This is sooooo confusing. Did you try pushing it when the handbrake is on? I'm trying to rule out if the handbrake works. Does the car START and move? Or does it just roll without starting?

You gotta give us more details man. Your ignorance is making us avoid your thread.

You could have a short in the immobilizer circuit. I would check your grounds and makes sure they are good and clean. You may want to do a visual inspection of the socket that holds the fuse or relay to insure there is no corrosion.

Had a friend whose dad's TR7 killed itself.

A short triggered the starter while it was in gear, next to a building. It slammed itself into the building until it broke a fuel line, then burned itself to the ground.

I am not sure if hotwiring the starter would trip the alarm, but that is likely. I would disconnect the 2 wires going to the starter, make sure they do not touch anything, and then reconnect the battery. Then check for voltage on the smaller starter wire. If it is hot, you need to figure out why.

When I found the car the 2 times this has happen the car it's. its just move forward and hit my fence, when I run to the car the battery it's dead but when I Jump start it the panic factory alarm goes of just as the lights in the inside panel , even when I get to start it keeps going eventually shuts of but I'm afraid this could happen somewhere else, so i dont know if the car starts him self ore what and to sensed your question I try to push it with the hang brake and the car wouldn't move, so I'm taking it to Mazda next Monday

, thanks man I did check the relay I put a new one the first time that the episode happen bc I notice if I touched the starter relay the car move foward, but I think you are the one closest to the problem in my opinion I'm not a mechanic so i dont know how to check the grounds but the ground wire of the battery looks good to me I even clean it , So who knows what's going on I'm taking the car to Mazda next Monday for the airbag recall and they will check it the only problem it's like the car only has done 2 times and it hasn't happen when it's use in the regular just when I let the car stand still for a day ore so
