KY Help fast!!

I am currently wanting to buy a 2004 RX 8 and it is in emaculent condition! Only asking 7k for it. But it has 134k miles on it. IS THIS A GOOD DEAL? And is this too high of mileage? (This is my first sports car, so I'm not sure on what too look for)

I wouldn't buy it without a proper compression test....

For 7K it would need to be in Immaculate condition to justify it at that mileage

What should I look for to be able to justify it?

High scores on a rotary compression test.

$7K for a 2004 with 134k miles?

It would need to have perfect service records, perfect compression and every single option available.

Shouldn't the seller be trying to convince you?

You did good by coming here to get feedback. Read up on the engines, compression tests and catalytic converter and ignition coils, especiallyif your mind is set on rx8s. If you have 7k to spend, you can get a much better one.

Agreed, price is too high. And compression test - by someone who knows how to perform a compression test on a rotary engine - is mandatory. No compression test, no purchase.
