are you talking about rebuilding the keg? only if a rotary specific compression test shows it failed. its an expensive and labor intensive process

From the pics it looks like there is a vacuum line going to the BARO sensor. This is the sensor located by front passenger strut tower in front of air pump. This should have no vacuum line attached to intake and should be left open to atmosphere. This measures barometric pressure. If you connect this to engine vacuum your engine will run like crap

It is running but now I have oil sitting on top of the motor when I drive. Pools of it. Everything I’m finding is saying apex seals. Does this sound right.

Not really? Apex seals don't lead to the outside. You could remove them entirely and oil wouldn't find its way to the top of the engine. That sounds more like a broken OMP line or injector. Figure out where that oil is coming from. Is there oil in the intake?

No oil in intake that I can see. And I think the oil is coming from the line off the oil cap. Because when I got it. It was not connected to anything. Looks like it may have been cut to be honest. And can’t find a good diagram to show me exactly where to look to see where it connects

Saw your other post, here's the TSB for the oil vent line again: https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-tro...letins-183774/

If you connect the line back to the intake nipples - great, but if you don't verify that they're capped. Having those open to atmosphere would definitely cause problems. I'm a little concerned at the amount of oil coming out of that line though. If it was all connected as original to the intake before the throttle body, there would be oil in the intake and could be a sign of significant blowby...
But get it routed somewhere, to the nipples or to the intake, and then we'll see.
